WHAT IS IT?
On Feb. 2nd and 3rd, Decoded Fashion will host a fashion hackathon - a competition in which top engineers will have 24-hours to create an app or startup that solves a pivotal industry problem. The top 3 teams will be introduced at NY Tech Meetup on Feb. 5th, and will also get to present their concept at New York Fashion Week.
WHAT DO THEY WIN?
The winner, selected by top fashion judges will receive $10,000 and the chance to have its app launched with the support of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).

Smaller boutiques are grouped together to increase their buying power (which means staying competitive with larger retailers), buying regularly instead of seasonly, and testing new brands with less restrictive minimums.
